Brazil-El Salvador Cultural Center
The Brazil-El Salvador Cultural Center (CCBES) was founded by the Ministry of External Relations in 1986. Located in the headquarters of the Brazilian Embassy, the CCBES functions as a cultural extension of it.
Since its creation, the CCBES has as its main purposes the promotion of the Brazilian Portuguese language and the publicizing of the Brazilian culture. The CCBES hasa library and an audiovisual sector and special spaces for its cultural activities, which include art exhibitions, theatre performances, festivals, as well as regular courses of Brazilian Portuguese and Celpe-Bras Examination preparation courses.
